First Steps – A six-week study introducing the discipleship process of the 12 Steps. Starts February 23.
Core Questions Study – In January, Northwest Bible is starting a sermon series called, “Reveal His Story.” This sermon series ties to Core Questions adopted by the church. Through the use of a five-week curriculum, this co-ed group will discuss the application of the answers to these questions in their lives and the Church today. Starts January 19.
Boundaries – A co-ed group in which participants learn to set healthy relationship boundaries, practice self-care, and use their gifts to serve God and others. April 20–June 1.
Open Groups for Men and Women – Gender specific groups that meet every week for those seeking a safe place to share their struggles with others.
Recovery for Life is founded on
and committed to these Guiding Principles:
- Our Higher Power is Jesus Christ. It is our goal to honor and glorify Him in all that we do - in our worship, in our teaching, in our testimonies, in our small groups, in our step studies, and in our fellowship. We praise Him for His mercy and grace.
- The Word of God is our guidebook and authority. When in doubt, go to the source of authority, the Holy Scripture. As a ministry of Northwest Bible Church, we are established under and are subject to the authority of the elder board.
- Anonymity and confidentiality are an absolute commitment and are essential to our "safe place."
