Surviving the Holidays Events
Northwest’s Care Ministry will host the following events during the holiday season designed to encourage and support those in our community who are struggling with complicated emotions related to holiday stress, events and expectations. We invite you, your family and your friends to join us for “Surviving the Holidays” (two options for care) in November and our unique “Comfort and Joy” service in December.
Surviving the Holidays | Thursday, November 16
Recovery for Life | 6:45–7:30 PM | Christian Life Center (CLC) Quads A & B
GriefShare (for those grieving a loved one’s death) | 7–8:30 PM | Theater
Comfort & Joy Service | Thursday, December 21, 6:45–7:30 PM | Christian Life Center (CLC) Quads A & B
Recovery for Life will host a special candlelight Christmas service for anyone hurting or grieving during this holiday season. An optional dinner is available at 6:15 p.m.
The Comfort & Joy service is a great opportunity to invite someone in your life that is hurting into a healing conversation about Jesus during the holiday season.
We hope these events will offer hope during a season that can feel hopeless for those dealing with pain and loss. For questions about these events and other Care Ministry opportunities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (469) 453-7751.
