Minister of Administration
It is my privilege to serve as the Minister of Administration here at Northwest Bible Church. I studied Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech for undergrad and then went on to Dallas Theological Seminary for a ThM in New Testament exegesis. Upon graduating from seminary, I served as a Minister of Christian Ed for two years in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and then came on staff at Northwest as Minister of Children’s Education. I served in that capacity for 10 years and then moved over to my current position where I have been for the last 26 years.
As best I can tell, I first believed in Jesus for eternal life at the age of 9 in Vacation Bible School. I did not understand about walking with God on a daily basis or making Him lord of my life, however, until my senior year in high school. After a period of time where I seriously doubted God’s existence, I came to understand and believe the absolute truth of the Bible, and I have sought to walk with Him as a growing disciple ever since. I am passionate about sharing the salvation message in overseas missions work as well as facilitating in-depth study of God’s word in small groups.
I am blessed to have four sons, three wonderful daughters-in-law and five grandchildren, and I absolutely love spending quality and quantity time with each one of them. I have many interests and enjoyments which include traveling, going to the beach or mountains, camping, Bible exegesis, theology, history and historical museums/buildings, genealogy, civil war currency, oldies music, and reading John Grisham novels. The Bible verse upon which I rest my life and ministry is John 11:25-26, where Jesus says “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
