Outreach Administrative Assistant
I am so pleased to serve at Northwest as the Outreach Administrative Assistant. I joined the staff in July 2017 and have been working in ministry support for over 8 years. I enjoy working behind the scenes and preparing the details so that loving God and loving others can happen more easily for everyone. My favorite part of ministry is taking the vision and figuring out how to make it happen.
When I was baptized at the age of seven, my primary reasoning was to make my older sister mad by “going to the front of the church” before she did. While I knew getting baptized was a big deal, I didn’t really understand what it really meant. My relationship with Jesus began when I was 16 and finally was ready to publicly declare my commitment to Christ through baptism “for real” at 23. It’s amazing to look through the years at how God has and continues to draw me to Himself using every aspect of my life- nothing has been wasted!
As a South Carolina native, I left part of my heart at the beach. I have two nephews that turn me into the heart-eyes emoji and are two of the main reasons I moved to Texas. I love to observe and appreciate creativity it its many forms. I also love my sleepy schnauzer Lulu, British drama television, and will always be in the mood for tacos.
