Vickery Kids Club is on Summer Break and will return this fall. Please visit for other volunteer opportunities.

Vickery Kids Club is a Tuesday evening program for kids. It includes a Bible lesson as well as snacks and games/crafts.

Below are various ways to get involved:

Be a Weekly Leader.

Commit to coming weekly to help with set-up, lead a small group of kids through a Bible lesson and activity, and walk kids home at the end of the program.

Bring Snacks.

We need snacks on a weekly basis. It would be great if small groups or families could purchase and bring snacks to Kids Club. Often we'll have enough dry snacks to last for a few weeks, but it is nice to have fresh fruit, so sometimes we just need volunteers to bring fruit. Once a month we recognize our Kids Club birthdays and "Super Stars" (those with good behavior and attendance). It is nice to have cupcakes or another special treat.

Facilitate Arts & Crafts (one night every-other month).

Every other month we have a craft night. We would love to have volunteers to come and help with crafts or even lead a craft night.

Facilitate Games (one night every-other month).

Every other month we have a game night with group competitions (think Bible trivia, musical chairs, etc.). We would love to have volunteers come to help with the games or even lead a game.

Participate in Annual Events

  • Back-to-school barbeque. We need volunteers to prep and serve food, distribute backpacks, play games with kids, fellowship with families and help clean up.
  • Fall Fun Fest. We need volunteers to help transport kids to the Northwest Bible Fall Fun Fest and chaperone small groups of kids while at the festival.

We would love to have a group of people committed to praying for the ministry and for the kids by name. Cara could send those interested weekly prayer requests or meet with them regularly for prayer.
