Join us as we make connections and build relationship with refugees through resource distribution.
Most refugee families arrive in the US with nothing more than the clothes they are wearing. Government support lasts only six months; after that, refugees are expected to have learned enough English and American culture to maintain a job sufficient to support their family.
It's not always that simple.
The Northwest Community Center offers essentials like diapers, personal hygiene products, and basic home items to aid refugees materially; our end goal is to empower refugees for independence as we invite them to know Jesus.

How Can I Be Involved?

1. Resource Distribution: We are looking for groups and families with a passion for people to connect with families, assess their needs, and distribute resources.
The next Resource Distribution is Saturday, April 14th from 10:45 AM - 1:00 PM. Childcare is provided for children 5 and under. To serve, sign up here.
2. Organization: We are looking for volunteers with a passion for organization to help us sort and take inventory as new items arrive every week. We organize the Resource Room on Thursdays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. You can sign up here, but feel free to stop by any time to help us sort.
