Senior Adults Ministry
Our Senior Adults ministry reaches out to senior adults in the second half of life.
3-Score (More or Less)
Our most enduring activity is the monthly 3-Score luncheon. The luncheon brings senior adults together for a time of encouraging, Christ-centered fellowship and inspiration. We meet in the Christian Life Center. The lunch is free, but donations are accepted. Seating is limited to 150 people, so an RSVP is appreciated.
Please RSVP to Peggy Holt at firstname.lastname@example.org or 214-693-4226 by the 3rd Friday of each month.
2019 3-Score Luncheon Dates
April 23 - Evelyn Hinds performs "Who Has Time to be the Ricardos and the Mertzes in Today's World?"
May 28 - Jack Edmondson combines his dramatic talents with his historical knowledge to portray Sam Houston.
Senior Adults Bible study
Join us as we discuss topics regarding faith, aging, and the truth of scripture. Each month, we will explore new limitations and new freedoms, earthly bonds and eternal expectations. Our hope is to grow older, wiser, and more faithful as we study God's word together.
Senior Adults Bible Study is the second Tuesday of every month at 10:00 am in the Christian Life Center, Room 104. We hope you will join us!
Each Sunday morning we gather together for teaching and fellowship with one another in Quads A&B of the CLC beginning at 10:35.
