HOPE with us Good Friday & Easter
EASTER Sunday | April 21 @ 9:00, 10:15, & 11:30 AM
On Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. It is a Sunday to reflect on all that Jesus can handle because He conquered the grave. We approach Easter Sunday with a confident expectation of experiencing God's presence in our midst.
Who in your life feels that they are "too messy" for Jesus? Please invite them to join us!
Children's Ministry programs available for birth-5th grade. Student Ministries (6th-12th grades) will not meet in order for students to worship with their families in the service.
EASTER SUNDAY PARKING - for regular attendees
Please help us welcome our many guests on Easter Sunday by parking at the BBVA Compass Bank across Northwest Highway. Shuttle service between the bank and the church will be available all morning.
EASTER SUNDAY CHILDREN’S MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS - for regular attendees
Every Easter we host a larger than normal crowd, with many new faces. In order for us to put our best foot forward and offer a safe and fun Easter experience for our families, we need your help in Children’s Ministry! Let’s partner together to ATTEND ONE service and SERVE ONE service. Which service can you serve? Please contact Lida Lindley (email@example.com).
EASTER SUNDAY GREETING VOLUNTEERS
We need 150 volunteers to create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests during our three Easter services at 9:00, 10:15, and 11:30. So if you and your family are in town for Easter, please sign up here to volunteer!
GOOD FRIDAY | April 19 @ 7 PM
The service of Tenebrae, meaning "darkness" or "shadows," is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s suffering from the Gospel of John. Readings trace the story of Christ’s passion, music portrays his pathos, and the power of silence and darkness suggest the drama of this horrific day.
After each reading, candles will be extinguished, followed by music designed to create a space for you to consider the depth of Christ's suffering and death.
The degree to which we feel the weight and darkness of our sin is the degree to which we feel the weight and light of joy on Easter.
Childcare provided for birth-5 years.
