@Northwest | The Virtual Church This Week

Date: Thursday, March 26, 2020

Our Northwest family continues to find new ways to come together! We miss seeing each other in person but are encouraged by all the stories of online interaction in a time when we need each other more than ever. Small groups continue to meet, students are getting together and Neil is leading us in prayer every day at noon. We are grateful for this body as we continue to believe that where God has us is where Jesus is.

Our Recovery for Life board and several small groups have successfully met this week via Zoom!

Children’s Ministry invites kids & parents to stay connected on their Facebook group for daily videos and activities to do as a family!

High School Ministry is intentionally connecting on Thursdays! Parents and Leaders can connect with Marvin and each other over Zoom, and students are using Discord. All the info can be found HERE.

High School Ministry continues to connect with students on Wednesday nights on Instagram! Parents can engage with Joel and each other on Tuesday nights over Zoom. All the info can be found HERE

Young Adults are invited to stay connected on Facebook and a virtual game night is being planned for April 2nd!

Recovery for Life is available via their Facebook page with live worship and teaching on Thursdays at 6:45 p.m.

Join us on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. for live worship and a message from Neil! Livestream is available on our Facebook page and YouTube channelFor those of you who aren't regular users of social media, please know that you do not need a Facebook account to watch the livestream. Links can be found on our webpage each Sunday morning.

Neil and Vela are leading us in a special time of prayer live on Facebook at 12 p.m. every Monday through Friday. This has been an important time of togetherness for our church body. You can find the link, devotional notes, and previous videos on our Prayer page.

We’re looking into opportunities to care well for our body during this time, including using Northwest Cares. If you have ideas or have encountered hardships, please reach out to David Rogers at

This is the final week for Faith Promise pledges. We are more excited than ever to share Jesus with the world and will be making plans for next year's missions budget based on the pledge total received by March 29. You can fill out your pledge card online for giving that begins July 1 and goes through June 30, 2021.

Digital options allow for flexible giving! You can give one time or set up recurring giving on our website or via the easy-to-use App
