Liza Bell

Girl's Director

I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve as Girls Director at Northwest Bible Church. The Lord has been faithful in bringing me to this position and I am honored to serve and minister to Middle School and High School girls. I joined the Student Ministry team after 2 years working in the Fashion Industry as an Assistant Buyer and 3.5 years of serving as a volunteer in the High School Ministry. It was through my time as a volunteer and the opportunity I had leading High School girls on a yearly mission trip to Guatemala that the Lord made it clear to me that His calling on my life was girls’ ministry.

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of seven. Ever since I made the decision to follow Jesus, the Lord has only deepened my understanding, belief, and relationship with him. I am above all grateful for the trials I have been through that have placed me face to face with my faith and challenged me to make my faith my own. My faith took a strong turn my junior year in High School when my Dad passed away suddenly. The Lord used the guidance and love of two women to walk me through that time of grieving: my Mom and my mentor. Because of the impact these two women had on my life and the growth I experienced, I have a deep passion for doing the same. I feel a strong calling on my life to mentor girls and walk through life with them.

I love spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, seeing movies, exploring Dallas and new cities, flea market shopping, following fashion blogs, and indulging in dr. pepper. I am a sucker for rom coms and am guilty of occasionally binging on Netflix. I could probably eat chips and queso every day for the rest of my life, especially Torchy’s! But above everything, my relationship with the Lord is the center of my life and the reason I live – all glory be to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or imagine – Ephesians 3:20-21.
