Spiritual Formation Minister
I joined the Northwest staff in August of 2015 after working in the financial services industry for three years. My wife and I moved to Dallas in 2012 to attend Dallas Theological Seminary and shortly after found a home at Northwest. Today, I have the privilege of serving as the Spiritual Formation Minister. I am so grateful to work alongside a staff of humble men and women as we seek to invite people into the unexpected joy of desperate dependence on Jesus.
I grew up in a Christian home, but up until my junior year of high school, I was a self-righteous young man who desperately worked to earn the smile of God until I finally encountered the free grace of Jesus. Since my collision with the prodigal love of God, my life goal has been to open people’s eyes to the beauty of the gospel. God has placed a fire in my heart to present the wonder of the gospel to others in the context of life-on-life relationships and through the teaching of his word. As a tour guide leads others to scenic overlooks, I love leading men and women to see the glory of Christ!
When I have free time, you’ll find me attempting to brew the perfect cup of coffee, reading a book, watching The Lord of the Rings, or doing anything fun with my beautiful wife and children. My life verse is Psalm 16:11, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
